Congratulations to Kevin Ragnott on his amazing job with the two murals he painted at the brand new Goodwill Industries department store in Spanish Harlem on E121st & 3rd Ave.
On July 14th, ArtBattles provided the visual entertainment for Purple Beverage Company's All Star Week Celebration.
The pieces were auctioned off for charity, raising about $4,000 to benefit the Torii Hunter Project. Athletes Torii Hunter and Mariano Rivera (sponsored by Purple) were both in attendance. The event also included some very special performances by Talib Kweli & Pete Rock.
Big thanks to Dave, Remy, and the rest of the crew at Purple.

ArtBattles has been commissioned by Goodwill Industries to create two murals for their new department store in Spanish Harlem.
Here we see the artist Kevin Ragnott painting a mural which depicts East 116th Street.
Congrats to Leif McIwaine, along with his associates Charlie and Bianca, for opening AlphaBeta on July 1st.
Located in Greenpoint, the place has a street art supply store in the front plus a gallery and venue in back.

We presented a live art showcase at DJ Iron Lyon's event on the 17th of May at Hope Lounge.
M Squared and Billy Stillman performed. It was a great night of art & hip hop. See images here.
Check out fresh stuff from a former ArtBattles Champion Aaron Ginsberg.
Aside from painting live, Ginsberg is one-half of the culture and couture conglomerate known as Ducksworth.
His latest endeavor is simply scripted, Aaron. His first series from the project fuses fashion with fine art and is entitled "Bone Soil."
